Delete your Overflow account and data

In the app (fastest)
- Open Overflow and tap the gear icon (Settings).
- Under Account, tap Delete account and data.
- Confirm. Your account and your cloud save are deleted and the app returns to a fresh guest game.
Without the app
Email usmanmaani1980@gmail.com from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my Overflow account". If you only used Overflow as a guest (no account), tell us the approximate install date and we will explain what can be removed; uninstalling the app deletes the progress stored on your phone.
What gets deleted
- Your account (email or Google sign-in link) and anonymous player ID.
- Your cloud save: progress, currency, rewards, words found, season and league data, cosmetics.
- Your daily leaderboard entries are not shown under your name; today's and yesterday's entries may remain on the board until they expire.
What may remain
Anonymous analytics and crash reports that are not linked to your identity are kept by Google for a limited period under its retention policies. We take up to 30 days to complete an emailed request.
